Fucking Yay. This is why I don't recommend people buy permanent LJ accounts. What are the odds you won't "guess wrong" on a LiveJournal content ruling some time in the next 7 years (the amount of time it takes for a permanent LJ account to "pay for itself")?
I read about LJ accounts getting suspended, deleted, or terminated every few months: sometimes en masse, sometimes just an individual. Unfortunately, I hear this about all the other hosting services, too. If I felt like any of the other services was any safer, I'd use that instead, but short of learning how to do it myself, I don't see a way to avoid that kind of control. LJ cancels accounts for nipples and slash-art. Angelfire cancelled my account for reasons unspecified, but probably my transition diary. If you use a "service", you run the risk of the service shutting you down.
